This friendly and welcoming craft beer and bottle shop opened on 23rd March 2024 in what was previously the Lock & Barrel micropub (which operated from 2019 until it closed at the end of March 2023) and was originally an ironmongers shop.

Striking modern yet minimalist bold décor in dark grey with wooden flooring and bar counter in a yellow-grey pattern along with an imposing yellow BR1 poster and contemporary lighting. Despite the size, there are several high wooden tables and stools plus rattan chairs with plenty of cushions by the large windows, which bring in plenty of light. Cold room is behind the bar along with a well stocked fridge with plenty of cans plus sharing bottles. One wall is devoted to shelves of natural wine, small batch gin, coffee, hot sauces, seasonings and snacks for takeaway.

Keg beer only but a choice of up to six draught lines showcasing microbreweries from around the country (eg. Beak, DEYA, Floc., Vault City, Wiper and True, Left Handed Giant, Lost and Grounded to name a few). These change on a frequent basis but will usually include a lager, a dark beer, a fruited sour and a cider.

This follows the same format as the original Craft Beer Cabin in South Norwood, SE25: https://whatpub.com/pubs/CRO/11769/craft-beer-cabin-south-norwood
