The pub reopened in April 2018 having been closed for several weeks for refurbishment. The New Inn is a very handsome and imposing stone building. The interior is spacious with around 10,000 square feet of room. It was a traditional pub when built and is now independently owned, and incorporates a large restaurant. The bar area is very smart with separate dining areas. The upstairs events venue is equally plush, with chandeliers and is available for hire. There is regular entertainment in the evenings. The three guest beers tend to be mainstream choices.
