In the very heart of Greenwich town centre this Grade II-listed pub is sited in the north-eastern corner of Greenwich Market. Greenwich Hospital Foundation, owner of the site, bought back the outstanding premises lease in early 2018 and the pub subsequently closed. Re-opened with operator Mosaic Pub & Dining in July 2019. A former Charrington's house, with the old front fascia pub signage extolling this previous ownership. A pub on several levels with a first floor dining room too. Seating in the main bar is at a mix of high stools and high tables and normal height tables and chairs. Toilets are down a flight of stairs from the main bar area. Following a 2025 refurbishment, the number of cask beers was increased from one to three.
