Impressive high ceilinged Victorian corner pub with single L-shaped bar and lots of open floor space. Popular and lively with live music every evening apart from Thursday which is quiz night. Has a Thai restaurant, "Chai's Garden", with a separate entrance in a converted coach house at the rear. No dogs admitted. One handpump is used for cider that does not meet CAMRA definition of real cider.
