The pub has been part of Urban Pubs & Bars portfolio since autumn 2024. Beer range had reduced since Covid and now has two handpumps on the main bar, usually serving Sambrook's Wandle and a guest cask beer alongside a good selection of keg beers.

The pub now has quiz night on Mondays, live music from 11pm at weekends and special deals on pizzas most days.

Live sport is shown for all major games.

Originally a shop, Regent Inns acquired the premises in 1997 and converted them to a pub which opened as the Eclipse . Wizard Inns took over in 2003 and changed its name to Blithe Spirit.

Following another change of ownership in 2013 it became an Antic pub in mid 2013, was renamed again to Hagen & Hyde, and reopened with up to ten real ales, twelve keg beers and two real ciders on the bar. The kitchen specialised in fresh fish. Entertainment ranged from DJs to bands but all with a definite vintage flavour.
