This free house is the only pub left on the estate and was substantially refurbished in 2017 and again more recently. It is operated by the same company as the White Horse in nearby Brixton Hill.

The pub has two rooms served by a single bar, each with a cosy atmosphere. Note the unique portrait of eighteenth century actor and impresario Samuel Foote.

Quite busy in the evenings, with a popular quiz night on Sundays.

Real ale reduced to £4/pint on Mondays and Tuesdays.
