NEW TAPROOM BECKENHAM, BR3WERY, 253 Beckenham Road, BR3 4RP This microbrewery opened its new premises in December 2020, with a tap-room included. Unfortunately due to the Covid crisis, the brewery (whose name derives from its post code) can only provide a takeaway service at present The takeaway range does include beers from other local breweries, and this will continue even after new brewing equipment becomes operational - delivery of which is expected in January 2021.

BROMLEY, HOP & RYE (Stonegate), 54 London Road, BR1 3QZ. Demolished November 2020.

NEW MICROPUB CHISLEHURST, COCKPIT, 4 Royal Parade, BR7 6NR. The Cockpit is Chislehurst's first micropub, and opened its doors for the first time in late December 2020. Unfortunately with the Covid crisis in full swing, the pub is currently only able to offer a takeaway service. At the time of writing this operates from Thursday to Sunday in the afternoon and early evening. A choice of real ales from small local breweries is available. The house beer, named PIT - is a pale ale brewed by BritHop.

WEST WICKHAM, SWAN (Ei Group/Bermondsey Pub Co), 2-4 High Street, BR4 0NJ. Moved to Stonegate’s “Great UK Pubs” brand.

CROYDON & SUTTON

SW16, NORBURY (Wellington), 1300 London Road, SW16 4DG. Did not reopen following March lockdown. Lease handed back to Wellington and likely to be for sale.

CROYDON, ORCHARD, 116 Orchard Way, CR0 7NN. Closed and sold towards end of 2019. Planning app to retain pub converting upstairs to four flats resubmitted Nov 2020 following previous refusal.
