Known locally as "the Cod" and popular with both tourists and locals. Run since Oct 2025 by the small London Inda Pubs chain, after a period under Butcombe Brewery management. Inda Pubs was founded in 2012 by James Corbett and the chain focuses on "acquiring neighbourhood pubs with hidden character, re-furbishing and restoring them, and recruiting exceptional operators who are as passionate about food and drink as we are".

Three handpumps for cask ale; and a gastro-type food offering includes Sunday roasts.
