The former Kings Arms reopened in June 2026 after a month's closure for refurbishment, and reverted to its original (1742) name. It's at the top of White Horse Street off Piccadilly, with a curved frontage and a conventional decor. There is a first floor bar by way of a curved staircase, which can be hired for functions. A Lilley's cider occupied the remaining handpump at our last visit. A wide food menu includes Sunday roasts and kids' options. Note that under the terms of the licence, alcohol may only be sold Monday to Sunday from 10am.
