A sprawling early 20th century pub on ground floor and basement levels. Low ceilings nonetheless make for an intimate atmosphere, although TV sports are available. The name Silver Cross relates to the Canada Memorial Cross, created after the First World War for presentation to mothers of fallen Canadian forces members and nursing sisters.
