At one time the Frigate and before that the Cranbourne pub, a Watney's Schooner Inn combining pub and steak-house with a fantasy-themed styling. The site is Grade II listed. In its current incarnation it is very much an evening party venue for a young clientele, with a smallish ground-floor bar and a more extensive basement bar and club area. A varied food offering includes sandwiches, a bar-food menu, and more substantial fare including bottomless brunch at weekends and Sunday roasts.
