This basement bar, just off the Strand and Fleet Street, used to be a standalone bar and brewhouse but following the takeover of City Pub Co by Young's, this is now a beer hall and part of Daly's Wine Bar upstairs. A separate street entrance, further down the street than the main wine bar entrance, has been kept. A dozen or so chilled keg beers are on draught plus two or three cask ales. The food offering is "hearty, shareable plates bursting with bold, satisfying flavours, perfectly paired with our wide-ranging selection of ice-cold beers". The previous rather grungy seating and vibe have been maintained in the makeover.
