A popular and friendly local community pub tucked away in a quiet residential area of Bromley Common with a lively chatty atmosphere and strong local following.

The bar area consists of front and rear bars, completely refurbished to a high standard with wooden panelling. The white ceiling is complemented by the dark grey carpet to give a contemporary fresh look. The walls are adorned with decorative plates, pictures and photos whilst dried hops and beer jugs hang from the ceiling. There are also comfy seats around the fireplace, bench seating plus a couple of TV screens. The bar area opens onto a larger and more modern well lit room in brick with glazed windows and which acts as the conservatory: Deceptively spacious, this can be used as a function room. This then opens onto the enclosed garden with a large shelter for smokers, complete with table sets, benches and sheltered seats.

Following closure around the beginning of February 2023, it was redecorated and re-opened on 27 October 2023. Real ale was made available again, following its discontinuation in 2015: This is currently intermittent despite the sign above the bar advertising London Pride and Doom Bar.
