Theatre bar in the newly built SE corner of the Hackney Empire Theatre replacing the old Samuel Pepys on the same spot. Address of Theatre is 291 Mare Street, bar has two entrances from the main street. Was the Empire Bar then the Two Palms. Reopened as a collaboration between Taverns East pub group and East London Brewing. The venue is inspired by New York diners with a mezzanine and alfresco seating.
