After being closed by Greene King on 29 June 2025 and sold, the Sutton Arms reopened as planned on 30 October 2026 as the Oak & Anchor. Situated at the top (south) end of the High Street, this pub is handy for both shoppers and public transport. There are ten TV screens and also gaming machines. The draught beers include two cask ales, and other cask ales may become available in the future.
