BROMLEY, LOCK & BARREL, 18 London Road, BR1 3QR. Bromley's latest micropub opened its doors on 3rd May 2019. Sitting on the site of an old ironmongers shop, the Lock & Barrel tips a nod to its predecessor, not only with its name, but also its interior. The majority of the inside has been built using reclaimed timber from the copious amounts of shelving which previously held nuts, bolts, bells, handles and much more. This provides a welcoming and relaxed environment in which to enjoy a large range of both cask and keg ales alongside some interesting spirit and wine options. The proprietors are committed to providing a regular rotation of beers from breweries across Kent and London as well as the odd offering from further afield, with a wide range of beer styles expected to be on offer. Offers CAMRA members 20p off a pint of real ale.

New build Young's house, in the self-styled Kidbrooke Village development and close to the railway station, that opened on 10th April 2019. The pub's name refers to the past siting of an RAF station here and its building housing stored barrage balloons, and one wall has a mural reflecting this. Lots of exposed brickwork and ducting and with a contemporary ambience and furnishings. 3 handpumps serving Young’s Bitter, Special and a guest beer currently St Austel Proper Job.

Opened 17th April as the first licensed venue in this building, with a stunning riverside situation and next door to the The Sail Loft pub. Superb cross river views with riverside terrace seating. Inside the venue is split over two floors, with bar and open to view kitchen on the ground floor and a smaller bar and restaurant upstairs. Real ales from Sambrook’s and Truman’s sold from 3 handpumps only on the ground floor bar counter. Various keg beers are sold as is tanked beer from Battersea Brewery dispensed from copper coloured overhead containers on both floors, 2 tanks on each floor. Toilets are upstairs. Bar snacks are served and there is also a full restaurant menu with an extensive food menu including dry age steaks and, yes, oysters.

W2, MAY GREEN, Sheldon Square, Paddington Central, W2 6DS. May Green is one of two linked boats on the canal in Paddington Basin, directly outside the "back entrance" to Paddington Station, the Circle/Hammersmith & City tube line exit to the canalside. The two boats are described as "floating pieces of art" and were designed by the doyen of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake. The May Green has nine craft beer taps and it is possible just to sit at the inside bar and order; or you can sit on the roof! Its linked sister boat Darcie Green serves all-day food with an Antipodean-inspired menu.

W6, YARDBIRD (Greene King), 17-18 Broadway Shopping Centre, W6 9YD. Reopened by and as CRAFT BEER CO. Following a period of closure this venue was taken over by Craft Beer Co and reopened in May 2019 as a very welcome addition to the local pub scene. It has had a major refurbishment to create a “modern pub with old-school pub values and real hospitality at its coreâ€. Up to six real ales are on handpump plus, as you would expect from the name, a good range of craft beer offerings: 20 keg lines and 50+ bottles & cans. Bar snacks plus burgers and salads are the current food offering. Its location, at the south end of the shopping arcade built around the bus and tube stations, gives good passing footfall throughout the day. The pub takes the form of a moderate-sized room, 'L'-shaped around the bar counter, with an outside terrace.

Keg beers are available on tap to taste and buy, by the litre, in bottles. There is also a varied selection of wine (four via Enoteca dispenser), canned and bottled beers and ciders, and spirits. Planned events include tastings and "Meet the Brewer" evenings.
